The gameplay and battles are enjoyable and don't get tiresome. Some choices can put some funny reactions, but they don't impact the plot that much. Instead, your main character will have dialogue choices with two choices that is pretty linear to interact with the characters. While you characters have voices and they do talk from your voice choices during battle and interaction of some items in the dormitories as well as during dating cut scenes, they don't speak or talk to any of the important characters and NPCs with their own voiced dialogue in cut scenes. But don't do it too much, you'll ruin your own immersion.īut there is no interpersonal character interaction within your party like Bioware games, but relationships still exist for dating options that is gender neutral.

They can be edited at any party management and the edits will be carried over to a new look and class, so it is limitless. The prologue chapters let you create your very first team with up to three characters for the game simulation and yes, they're real people in your team when you recruit them into your team. The art style for the characters are amazing and have a lot of depth and thought to it. You can customize any class and gender, as there is no gender limitations and the voices provide fun personalities to each you create. The character creation customization is unique and great. I've been playing this game more than 10 hours and I can't put it down, this kind of RPG is what I wanted for a long time now and it reminds me of some classic JRPGs and 7th Dragon III Code: VFD has lots of character.
#7th dragon code vfd launch edition series
Since this is the first time a 7th Dragon series has been released in the US, the game is not well known to many people and remains a hidden gem. Sega did a tremendous job of handling the localization without editing or taking out parts of the game unlike Nintendo and just straight translations.

#7th dragon code vfd launch edition Patch
Same for the first 7th Dragon game on the Nintendo DS which needs the patch as well. 7th Dragon 2020 and 7th Dragon 2020-II is a no export for you, but you can still play the games on your PSP, but you need the English translation patches from Cavespeak. The first game was release on DS in Japan only, then the sequels were released on the PSP. There is no English dub for the voices in this game. I've always wanted a 7th Dragon series to be released in the US and I am glad Sega did a great localization without taking out the legendary 40 Japanese voice actor/actresses for both male and female.
